Deal sourcing

Sponsor & ownership intelligence.
An orchestrated workflow.

Build a living map of each sponsor that matters to your mandate: current portfolio companies, owning funds and their vintages, holding periods, continuation vehicles, realized exits, and the deal-team members your firm already knows.

01

Map the current portfolio

The mapping agent reconciles licensed records against the sponsor’s own portfolio page and recent announcements, flagging companies that have quietly exited, rebranded, or moved to a continuation fund.

02

Attach the fund context

Each company is tied to its owning fund, vintage, and stated investment period, so the MD can see which holdings sit in funds approaching the end of their term and which have already been recapitalized.

03

Learn the exit pattern

The researcher assembles the sponsor’s realized exits by hold length, buyer type, and process style, giving the deal team a grounded view of how and when this sponsor tends to sell.

04

Surface the coverage angle

The coordinator connects the map to the firm’s relationship record: who has met the sponsor, on which deal, and who owns the relationship today. Original sponsor ownership and the current owning vehicle are always recorded separately.

Human-in-the-loop control

Relationship data is scoped to what each professional is entitled to see. A fund’s liquidity need and a company’s financial condition are recorded as separate conditions and never conflated.
