Customer Concentration

Sales to global government and defense customers (including U.S. government branches, agencies and departments) were $923.9 million, or 27.9% of consolidated sales, in fiscal 2026 (28.9% in fiscal 2025 and 29.4% in fiscal 2024); sales to U.S. government branches, agencies and departments and their contractors were $787.8 million, or 23.8% of consolidated sales. Sales to commercial customers (major airlines and related OEM suppliers) were $2,384.1 million, or 72.1% of consolidated sales, in fiscal 2026. The Government Solutions segment accounted for approximately 15% of fiscal 2026 sales; AAR is the prime contractor on the ten-year State Department INL/A WASS performance-based fleet-management contract (begun fiscal 2018). Government sales are subject to competitive bidding, government funding levels and worldwide geopolitical events.
