He was previously General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer of Eiger BioPharmaceuticals (2021-2023) and Chief Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel of Cytokinetics, Inc. (2019-2021), and earlier held positions at Impax Laboratories (now Amneal Pharmaceuticals) and BioMarin Pharmaceutical. Mr. Atkisson received his bachelor's degree from Harvard University, a Master of Science from The University of Edinburgh, and his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center.
