Dr. Steven J. O'Day has served as Agenus's Chief Medical Officer since January 2021. A pioneer in CTLA-4 inhibition, he has been the principal investigator on more than 200 clinical trials.
From 2015 until joining Agenus he was Director of Immuno-Oncology and Director of Clinical Research at the John Wayne Cancer Institute at Providence Saint John's Health Center. He received his M.D. from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1988 and his B.A. in Chemistry from Williams College in 1983, and completed his medical oncology fellowship at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center.
