John G. Finley is Chief Legal Officer of Blackstone and a member of the firm's Management Committee. He joined Blackstone in 2010, having previously been a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett where he co-headed the global mergers and acquisitions group.

He holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School, a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Harvard Law School.
