About

Nicholas Galakatos is Global Head of Life Sciences and Chairman of its Investment Committees. He joined Blackstone in December 2018 when the firm acquired Clarus, where he had been co-Founder and Managing Director since 2005.

He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from MIT and an undergraduate degree from Reed College, and completed post-doctoral studies at Harvard Medical School.
