Jean Hu has served on Fortinet's Board of Directors since October 2019. Since January 2023 she has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), a semiconductor company.

Previously she was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Marvell Technology Group from August 2016 to January 2023, and Senior Vice President and CFO of QLogic Corporation from April 2011 to August 2016, where she also served as acting CEO for two periods. From 2004 to 2011 she held senior positions at Conexant Systems, including CFO. She holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in economics from Claremont Graduate University.
