Bruce A. Edwards has been an independent director of Greif since 2006 and serves as Chairman of the Board and chair of the Stock Repurchase Committee. From March 2008 until his retirement in September 2015 he served on the Executive Management Board of Deutsche Post DHL, responsible for its supply chain operating unit.

He was previously Global Chief Executive Officer for DHL Supply Chain and, before that, Chief Executive Officer of Exel Americas.
