John A. Stall retired from NextEra Energy in 2010 after a career in nuclear leadership. He served as president of NextEra Energy's nuclear division from 2009 to 2010, as senior vice president and chief nuclear officer from 2001 to 2009, as vice president, nuclear engineering from 2000 to 2001, and as vice president of the St. Lucie nuclear generating station from 1996 to 2000. Earlier he held leadership roles at Dominion Energy's North Anna nuclear station from 1977 to 1996.

He has more than 40 years of nuclear generation experience, previously held a senior reactor operator license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and was a licensed professional engineer in Virginia.
