Jonathan Bauer was named chief investment officer in January 2020 and is responsible for managing Progressive's investment portfolios and strategies, including asset allocation and risk management. He joined Progressive in 2006 and helped manage portfolios across asset classes such as commercial mortgage-backed securities and corporate bonds, after research and trading roles at Bank of America Securities; he holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Columbia University.
