William P. Gipson is the retired President, Enterprise Packaging Transformation and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer of The Procter & Gamble Company, a consumer goods company, a role he held from 2017 until his retirement in 2019. He chairs Rockwell Automation's Board Composition and Corporate Governance Committee and serves on the Technology Committee.

Mr. Gipson joined Procter & Gamble in 1985 and held a variety of management positions with increasing responsibility, including Senior Vice President of Research and Development for Asia Innovation Centers and Beauty Care Sector Senior Vice President for R&D. He also held international leadership roles in South America and Singapore and helped create a half-billion-dollar business for a new product in the South American market.
