3D Systems acquired Alibre Inc. for $3.8 million, a transaction completed in July 2011, structured as Asset purchase, all cash.

Based in Richardson, Texas, Alibre made 3D CAD productivity tools already used by tens of thousands of businesses and individuals across more than 50 countries.
