3D Systems acquired Allevi, Inc., a transaction announced in May 2021.

Allevi, Inc. operates in Healthcare / Regenerative Medicine (bioprinting), is based in United States (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Allevi is a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based developer of bioprinting solutions comprising 3D bioprinters, biomaterials (bioinks), and specialized laboratory software. Founded in 2014, it had built a technology base, brand, and distribution network spanning more than 380 medical and pharmaceutical laboratories in over 40 countries. 3D Systems acquired Allevi to expand its regenerative medicine initiative and accelerate near-term bioprinting adoption in medical and pharmaceutical research and development laboratories.

Expand regenerative medicine initiative and extend bioprinting technology to the growing near-term demand in medical and pharmaceutical R&D laboratories.
