3D Systems acquires Kemo Modelmakerij B.V.

3D Systems acquired Kemo Modelmakerij B.V. for ~$3.719 million, a transaction completed in October 2011, structured as Stock purchase (100%), all cash.

Kemo Modelmakerij B.V. operates in Services, is based in Netherlands. Announced in October 2011, the acquisition of Kemo Modelmakerij added a Netherlands-based custom parts service bureau to 3D Systems. Headquartered in Budel, Kemo served engineers and designers with in-house rapid prototyping and tooling, turning 3D CAD files into finished plastic and metal parts from prototype through production. 3D Systems continued the operation as 3D Systems Benelux, its second Dutch acquisition that year.
