3D Systems acquired VisPower Technology, Inc. (TeamPlatform) for $4.998 million, a transaction completed in August 2013, structured as Stock purchase (100%), all cash.

VisPower Technology, Inc. (TeamPlatform) operates in Products and Services, is based in United States. In August 2013 3D Systems acquired TeamPlatform, a cloud-based collaborative design and project-management tool developed by VisPower Technology, which had been founded in 2010. The platform lets product design, engineering-services and manufacturing teams manage many projects and large volumes of shared data at once, with task management, project metadata and reusable workspace templates. 3D Systems planned to fold the technology into both its professional Geomagic tools and its consumer Cubify offerings.
