3M Company acquired E Wood Holdings PLC, a transaction completed in May 2007, structured as Acquisition (terms not disclosed).

E Wood Holdings PLC operates in Industrial (Corrosion Protection), is based in United Kingdom. E Wood Holdings, based in North Yorkshire, U.K., makes high-performance protective coatings (sold under the Copon, Thortex and Thistlebond brands) for oil, gas, water, rail and automotive industries, including pipeline and infrastructure rehabilitation coatings. 3M acquired it to gain access to pipeline-protection and rehabilitation markets complementing its corrosion-protection powder coatings.

Adds liquid coatings for new and existing oil, gas and water pipelines, complementing 3M's external powder coatings.
