Addus HomeCare Corp acquired Queen City Hospice for $192.0 million, a transaction completed in December 2020, structured as all cash.

Queen City Hospice operates in Hospice, is based in Ohio, had revenue of about approximately $56 million in annualized revenue. Addus acquired Queen City Hospice, LLC and Ohio Valley Hospice, LLC (together, Queen City Hospice) for a cash purchase price of $192.0 million, representing $162.8 million of value net of expected tax benefits. The Ohio-based business added approximately $56 million of annualized hospice revenue and was expected to be immediately accretive.

Add a scaled, immediately accretive hospice platform in Ohio and continue building the hospice segment.
