ADT acquires LifeShield, LLC

ADT acquired LifeShield, LLC, a transaction completed in January 2019.

LifeShield, LLC operates in DIY / self-setup security, is based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania / United States. LifeShield is a do-it-yourself, self-setup home security provider. ADT's FY2019 10-K ties the LifeShield acquisition to the start of 2019 (it began excluding DIY customers from certain attrition metrics 'as of January 1, 2019, in conjunction with the acquisition of LifeShield LLC'); LifeShield became a subsidiary guarantor under a supplemental indenture dated March 12, 2019.

Added a do-it-yourself, self-setup product line to ADT's professionally installed offering.

Established DIY self-setup security product and customer base.
