ADTRAN Holdings acquires CommScope Active Fiber Access Product Lines

ADTRAN Holdings acquired CommScope Active Fiber Access Product Lines, a transaction completed in September 2016, structured as Purchase of product lines, technologies and service relationships from CommScope, Inc. subsidiaries.

CommScope Active Fiber Access Product Lines operates in Fiber broadband access / cable MSO, is based in North America (cable MSO market). ADTRAN acquired key active fiber access products, technologies and service relationships from subsidiaries of CommScope, Inc. The acquired lines included active EPON and 10G-EPON platforms with CableLabs DOCSIS Provisioning of EPON (DPoE) certification, and the Radio Frequency over Glass (RFoG) product line, including patented optical beat interference (OBI) mitigated versions.

Enhanced ADTRAN's Software Defined Access solutions for the cable MSO industry, giving cable operators scalable multi-gigabit service-delivery products, services and support.
