Affiliated Managers Group acquires Suma Capital

Affiliated Managers Group acquired Suma Capital, a transaction completed in April 2024, structured as cash (terms not disclosed). The deal was a Minority-stake investment.

Suma Capital operates in Pan-European private markets (low-carbon), is based in Barcelona, Spain. In the second quarter of 2024 AMG completed a minority investment in Suma Capital, a pan-European private markets firm investing in the transition to a lower-carbon economy.

Consistent with AMG's partnership model, the Affiliate's management retains equity and operating autonomy while AMG provides permanent capital, global distribution and strategic resources.
