Agilent Technologies acquires BIOVECTRA

Agilent Technologies acquired BIOVECTRA for approximately $925 million, a transaction completed in September 2024, structured as all cash.

BIOVECTRA operates in Diagnostics and Genomics, is based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. BIOVECTRA is a Canadian contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in biologics, highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients, pDNA and mRNA, lipid-nanoparticle formulation, sterile fill-finish and antibody-drug conjugates.

BIOVECTRA broadens Agilent's end-to-end biopharma solutions into fast-growing therapeutic modalities (ADCs, HPAPIs, GLP-1) and combines biologics manufacturing with Agilent's gRNA expertise for integrated gene-editing capabilities.
