Edgio (CDN customer contracts) operates in Content Delivery. In December 2024 Akamai acquired certain customer contracts from Edgio (the former Limelight Networks/Edgecast CDN) for an estimated $158.2 million, subject to post-closing adjustments, after Edgio's bankruptcy. Substantially all of the purchase price related to the acquired customer relationships, which Akamai moved onto its delivery platform.
