Alamo Group acquires Tenco Group, Inc.

Alamo Group acquired Tenco Group, Inc., a transaction completed in October 2011, structured as asset purchase. The deal was a Asset purchase.

Tenco Group, Inc. operates in Industrial / snow removal, is based in Quebec, Canada and New York, USA. Alamo acquired substantially all of the assets of Canada-based Tenco Group, Inc. and its subsidiaries effective October 18, 2011. Tenco makes snow-removal equipment including snow blades, blowers, dump bodies and spreaders, with operations in Quebec and New York, sold mainly through dealers to governmental end-users and snow-removal contractors.

The acquisition expanded Alamo's snow-removal equipment offering and its Canadian manufacturing and dealer presence.
