AMETEK acquires Reading Alloys

AMETEK acquired Reading Alloys, a transaction completed in April 2008.

Reading Alloys operates in Electromechanical Group (EMG), is based in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, United States. AMETEK acquired Reading Alloys, a privately held, niche specialty metals producer based in Robesonia, Pennsylvania, with annual sales of approximately $80 million. Reading Alloys is a global leader in specialty titanium master alloys and highly engineered metal powders used in aerospace, medical implant, military and electronics markets. It joined AMETEK's Electromechanical Group. (AMETEK later divested Reading Alloys, selling it to Kymera International in 2020.)

Adds specialty titanium master alloys and engineered metal powders serving aerospace, medical implant, military and electronics markets to AMETEK's differentiated businesses.
