Charles River acquired Microgenetix, the premier provider of microbial identification services for biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, personal care, food, beverage and dairy companies across Australia. The deal extended Charles River's DNA-sequencing and MALDI-TOF mass-spectrometry microbial testing, paired with local access to the global Accugenix ID database, to the Australian market.
