HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquires Com Dev (COM DEV International)

HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquired Com Dev (COM DEV International) for $347 million, a transaction completed in February 2016, structured as Cash acquisition of 100% of issued and outstanding shares (COM DEV spun off its interest in exactEarth to shareholders).

Com Dev (COM DEV International) operates in Aerospace (Defense & Space), is based in Canada (Cambridge, Ontario). COM DEV International is a leading provider of satellite and space components and subsystems, with equipment on more than 950 spacecraft and a large share of commercial communication satellites. Honeywell acquired all outstanding COM DEV shares to grow its Aerospace connectivity business across military, civilian and commercial aviation.

Strengthens Honeywell's space and satellite connectivity capabilities and supports growth across its aviation connectivity initiatives.
