HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquires INNCOM International

HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquired INNCOM International, a transaction completed in June 2012, structured as Acquisition of a privately held company; financial terms undisclosed (INNCOM reported ~$24 million in 2011 sales).

INNCOM International operates in Automation and Control Solutions — Environmental & Combustion Controls (now Honeywell Building Technologies), is based in Niantic (East Lyme), Connecticut, USA. INNCOM International is a privately held manufacturer of software-based energy-management systems and in-room controls (thermostats, lighting, occupancy sensing and guest-room automation) for the lodging, healthcare and education markets, with devices installed in more than 800,000 hotel rooms for brands including Hilton, Sheraton, Hyatt, St. Regis, Four Seasons and Radisson. Honeywell acquired the company and integrated it into its Environmental & Combustion Controls business within Automation and Control Solutions.

Enhances Honeywell's building-management control offerings and extends its customer base into the high-growth global lodging industry, particularly the Middle East, India and Asia Pacific.
