HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquired InterCorr International, Inc., a transaction announced in June 2005, structured as Acquisition.

InterCorr International, Inc. operates in Automation and Control Solutions (Honeywell Process Solutions), is based in Houston, Texas, USA. InterCorr International was a Houston-based specialist in corrosion and materials engineering, best known for its SmartCET online, real-time corrosion-monitoring technology serving the petroleum, energy and transportation sectors. Honeywell acquired it to integrate SmartCET with its Experion Process Knowledge System, giving process-industry customers real-time corrosion data to cut maintenance costs and avoid unplanned downtime.

Add real-time, online corrosion-monitoring (SmartCET) to Honeywell Process Solutions and embed it in the Experion platform for oil, gas and refining customers.
