Honeywell acquired Kolon Industries' biaxially oriented nylon (BON) films business, including its production facility in Dangjin, South Korea. The deal expanded Honeywell's Specialty Materials barrier-films portfolio and gave it one of its early manufacturing footholds in South Korea.
