HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquires TruTrak Flight Systems

HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL INC acquired TruTrak Flight Systems, a transaction announced in July 2019, structured as Acquisition of a privately held company; financial terms undisclosed; no change to Honeywell's 2019 outlook.

TruTrak Flight Systems operates in Aerospace (BendixKing), is based in Springdale, Arkansas, USA. TruTrak Flight Systems, founded in 1999, makes affordable, easy-to-install autopilots for experimental, light-sport and certified aircraft, having sold well over 15,000 units by the time of the deal. Honeywell acquired the privately held company and folded it into its BendixKing business, with founder-owner Andrew Barker joining the BendixKing leadership team. The deal opened the fast-growing experimental and light-sport general-aviation market to BendixKing.

Gives BendixKing entry into the fast-growing experimental and light-sport general-aviation market and extends its portfolio of affordable avionics for the segment.
