Microsoft Corporation acquires CyberX

Microsoft Corporation acquired CyberX, a transaction announced in June 2020.

CyberX operates in Azure IoT (Cloud + AI). CyberX provides IoT and operational-technology security, discovering existing connected assets and managing security on legacy 'brownfield' devices across factory floors and buildings. Microsoft acquired it to give customers visibility into already-connected IoT devices and manage security for those using custom industrial protocols.

Complement Azure IoT security with discovery and monitoring of existing industrial IoT and operational-technology devices.
