Microsoft Corporation acquires FieldOne Systems LLC

Microsoft Corporation acquired FieldOne Systems LLC, a transaction announced in July 2015.

FieldOne Systems LLC operates in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. FieldOne provides field-service-management software covering work-order management, automated scheduling, asset management and mobile collaboration for enterprises. Microsoft acquired it to expand Dynamics CRM customer-service capabilities and enable predictive service through integration with Azure IoT and Cortana Analytics.

Enterprises want to move from reactive break-fix service to proactive, predictive service delivery, and FieldOne's end-to-end capabilities complement Microsoft's customer-service offerings.
