Microsoft Corporation acquires Flipgrid

Microsoft Corporation acquired Flipgrid, a transaction announced in June 2018.

Flipgrid operates in Microsoft Education, is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Flipgrid is a video-based social learning platform that helps students build communication and social-emotional skills, used in 180 countries by more than 20 million users from pre-kindergarten through Ph.D. Microsoft acquired it for Microsoft Education and made it free for schools.
