Microsoft Corporation acquires FrontBridge Technologies

Microsoft Corporation acquired FrontBridge Technologies, a transaction announced in July 2005, structured as Acquisition (terms not disclosed).

FrontBridge Technologies operates in Exchange Server Group, is based in United States (Los Angeles, California). FrontBridge Technologies was a Los Angeles-based provider of managed secure-messaging services, including email and IM archiving, spam filtering, virus scanning, encryption, policy enforcement, and disaster recovery. Microsoft acquired it to complement Exchange Server and help customers meet compliance requirements such as Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA.
