Microsoft Corporation acquired Orions Systems, a transaction announced in July 2020.

Orions Systems operates in Dynamics 365 Connected Store and Microsoft Power Platform. Orions Systems builds large-scale hybrid smart-vision systems that use human-in-the-loop machine teaching for video and image content analysis across edge-to-cloud configurations. Microsoft acquired it to let retailers and organizations build and train custom computer-vision AI models without deep technical expertise.

Extend Dynamics 365 Connected Store and Power Platform with customizable computer-vision AI for analyzing physical spaces.
