Microsoft Corporation acquired Peach Networks Ltd., a transaction announced in February 2000.

Peach Networks Ltd. operates in Microsoft TV Platform Group, is based in Or-Yehuda, Israel (U.S. office in Woburn, Massachusetts). Peach Networks, based in Or-Yehuda, Israel, built technology to deliver interactive services (email, messaging, Internet access) to basic digital cable set-top boxes without heavy bandwidth use. Microsoft acquired it to extend the Microsoft TV platform to the basic digital set-top boxes already deployed by cable operators.
