PlayFab operates in Azure (Gaming Cloud). PlayFab is a complete backend platform for building, launching, and operating cloud-connected games across mobile, PC, and console, including LiveOps, analytics, and player engagement tools. Microsoft acquired it to strengthen Azure's offering for game developers and expand its gaming-cloud business.
