Microsoft acquired it to combine its digital advertising offerings with ScreenTonic's mobile expertise and operator relationships.
To combine Microsoft's digital advertising offerings with ScreenTonic's mobile advertising expertise and mobile-operator relationships, enabling advertisers to reach mobile users globally across devices such as cell phones, PCs and Xbox systems.
