Microsoft Corporation acquired Sentillion, a transaction completed in February 2010.

Sentillion operates in Microsoft Health Solutions Group, is based in Andover, Massachusetts, USA. Microsoft completed its acquisition of Sentillion, a healthcare IT software company specializing in context management and single sign-on / identity management for clinicians. Combining Sentillion's technology with Microsoft's Amalga Unified Intelligence System aimed to streamline clinicians' access to health-IT applications and patient data, freeing more time for patient care.
