Parker-Hannifin Corp acquired Aqua Pro, Inc. (Village Marine Tec), a transaction completed in November 2008, structured as Acquisition; terms not disclosed.

Aqua Pro, Inc. (Village Marine Tec) operates in Filtration Group (Industrial North America), is based in Gardena, California, USA. Parker acquired Aqua Pro, a manufacturer of reverse-osmosis filtration systems for military, commercial and pleasure marine applications, doing business as Village Marine Tec and Offshore Marine Laboratories with plants in Gardena and San Fernando, California. Its fiscal 2008 sales were about $33 million, selling to boat and ship builders, distributors, U.S. military branches and end users. Products include RO systems for submarines, offshore oil rigs, work boats and yachts.

Adds a leading on-board marine reverse-osmosis water filtration line that complements Parker's Racor marine filtration products and opens expansion into aerospace, biosciences and industrial water filtration.
