REPUBLIC SERVICES, INC. acquired Central Texas Refuse, LLC, a transaction completed in December 2023, structured as Acquisition of all of the issued and outstanding membership and other equity interests of Central Texas Refuse, LLC and an affiliate.

Central Texas Refuse, LLC operates in Solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling, is based in United States (Austin, Texas area). In December 2023, Republic Services acquired all of the issued and outstanding membership and other equity interests of Central Texas Refuse, LLC and an affiliate (collectively, CTR). CTR operated a vertically integrated recycling and waste services business in and around Austin, Texas, giving Republic the opportunity to re-enter the high-growth Austin market. Republic disclosed the acquisition was not material to its results of operations, individually or in the aggregate, and provided no separate purchase price.

Central Texas Refuse's vertically integrated recycling and waste operations gave Republic the opportunity to re-enter the high-growth Austin, Texas market with an established local platform.
