Universal Health Services acquired Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW), a transaction completed in April 2014.

Psychiatric Institute of Washington (PIW) operates in Behavioral Health, is based in United States (Washington, D.C.). UHS acquired the Psychiatric Institute of Washington, a 124-bed behavioral health care facility and outpatient treatment center in Washington, D.C., during the second quarter of 2014. As part of the transaction UHS also acquired the associated Arbor Group operations. The purchase added inpatient and outpatient behavioral capacity in the capital market.
