Dr. Jaswinder Pal Singh has served on the 8x8 board since 2013 and as Board Chairman since December 2020. He is a member of the Strategic Investment, Governance and Nominating, and Technology & Cybersecurity committees.

He is the inaugural Professor of Computer Science, Technology, and Societal Change at Princeton University, which he joined in 1995, and co-directs the Princeton Center for the Decentralization of Power Through Blockchain Technology. His research focuses on parallel computing systems and applications and their implications for software and architectural design. Earlier in his career he co-founded and advised multiple technology companies.
