Kelly Ortberg is president and chief executive officer of The Boeing Company, which employs approximately 182,000 people worldwide and is a top U.S. exporter serving commercial and government customers in more than 150 countries. He became president and CEO in August 2024 and brings more than 35 years of aerospace experience, having begun his career in 1983 as an engineer at Texas Instruments before spending more than three decades at Rockwell Collins, where he rose to chairman, president and CEO. Following Rockwell Collins' integration into United Technologies, he served as CEO of Collins Aerospace and later as a special advisor to RTX Corporation.
