Alphabet acquires Siemplify

Alphabet acquired Siemplify, a transaction announced in January 2022.

Siemplify operates in Cloud / Cybersecurity, is based in Tel Aviv, Israel / New York, USA. Siemplify was a provider of security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) technology that helps security teams manage and respond to threats more efficiently. Google acquired it and integrated the technology into Google Cloud's Chronicle security platform, rebranding it as Chronicle SOAR. The deal advanced Google Cloud's goal of unifying threat detection and response for security operations centers.

Google Cloud acquired Siemplify to add security orchestration, automation and response to its Chronicle platform, helping security teams solve more incidents with less manual effort.
