OPEN TEXT CORP acquired HP Inc. Customer Experience software assets (TeamSite, MediaBin, Qfiniti), a transaction announced in April 2016, structured as Asset acquisition (carve-out of HP Inc. customer experience software assets).

HP Inc. Customer Experience software assets (TeamSite, MediaBin, Qfiniti) operates in Customer Experience Management, is based in United States. OpenText agreed to acquire a portfolio of customer experience software and services assets carved out of HP Inc. The acquired products included HP TeamSite, a multi-channel digital experience and web content management platform; HP MediaBin, a digital asset management solution; and HP Qfiniti, a contact-center workforce optimization tool, along with HP Explore, HP Aurasma and HP Optimost. Together the assets addressed marketing optimization, mobile marketing and voice-of-the-customer programs.

OpenText expected the deal to complement its Customer Experience Management and Cloud offerings, widen its software selection, and strengthen customers' multi-channel digital experience through marketing optimization, mobile marketing and voice-of-the-customer capabilities.
