Dr. Seely is president and CEO of Lyell Immunopharma Inc., a late-stage clinical company advancing next-generation CAR T-cell therapies. Prior to Lyell she was president, CEO, board member and first employee of Myovant Sciences, where she commercialized Myfembree (relugolix, estradiol and norethindrone acetate) and Orgovyx (relugolix). She also served as Chief Medical Officer of Medivation, where she led clinical development of Xtandi (enzalutamide) from first-in-human trials through global approvals prior to Medivation's $14 billion acquisition by Pfizer. She previously served as lead independent director of Blueprint Medicines prior to its $9.1 billion acquisition by Sanofi. She received her M.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed her residency and an endocrinology fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital and UC San Diego.
