Mark A. Buthman is an independent director of IDEX who brings extensive global financial and operational leadership experience from a 33-year career at Kimberly-Clark, a multinational Fortune 150 company. During 12 years as Kimberly-Clark's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer he was part of an executive team that created more than $20 billion in shareholder value and developed deep expertise in large, complex M&A transactions, corporate finance and capital allocation.

At Kimberly-Clark he executed or oversaw more than 50 acquisitions, including the $9.4 billion merger with Scott Paper Company and the tax-free spin-offs of Halyard Health and the Neenah Paper business. Mr. Buthman holds a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of Iowa.
